With the continued overcrowding and maintenance issues languishing at Bowie, an organic effort to push for a new Southwest Austin High School is gaining steam. Concerned parents and students are holding an open discussion with AISD trustee Robert Schneider at 6 PM on April 24 at Kiker Elementary. Those with children zoned to attend Bowie are strongly encouraged to attend.
