Spring Shred Day 2014
from the Austin Chapter of ARMA
Free Household Document Shredding
With the increased awareness of identity theft, it is more important than ever to carefully dispose of personal records such as credit card statements, checking account records, prescription documents, and medical insurance files.
The Austin chapter of ARMA is sponsoring their 11th Annual free SPRING “Shred Day.” Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 17th, 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Austin High School (1715 W. Cesar Chavez).
Households can bring up to five boxes of paper records per household for shredding. All of the shredded material and cardboard boxes are recycled. Please make sure your records are paper only and are not wet or moldy (no hard plastics, no plastic bags, no electronic media, and no three-ring binders). Monetary donations will be accepted with a portion of the proceeds going to ARMA Austin and the Capital Area Food Bank.
