About Us

Overview:  Deer Park is a neighborhood of 136 single-family homes established in 1994. Deer Park families represent many ethnic cultures, occupations, and family types, and include young people and senior citizens. Deer Park at Maple Run Owners Association, Inc. is a mandatory property owners association governed by an elected Board of Directors that seeks to represent the diversity of the neighborhoods for the common good and interest.

Location:   Deer Park is situated in southwest Austin, Texas just off Mopac (Loop 1 South) at the Davis Lane exit.  Our neighborhood is bounded by Davis Lane, Barasinga Trail, Copano, Muskdeer, and Moose Drive.

Schools:  Deer Park is in the Austin Independent School District and is served by these public schools: Cowan and Boone Elementary Schools, Covington Middle School, and James Bowie High School. Primrose School, a private day care school, borders Deer Park on Davis Lane and MoPac.

Libraries:  Beginning on Friday, August 24, the Hampton Branch at Oak Hill will be closed for approximately nine months for a complete renovation.

Recreation:  Recreation opportunities include nearby Dick Nichols Park, with trails, picnic areas, swimming and tennis facilities.  The Violet Crown Trail can be accessed at the Deer Park Trailhead on Davis Lane near Mule Deer Trail.  The Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center and Austin’s Veloway are a short distance to the south.  Austin's Zilker Park is a short distance north on MoPac.

Management Company:  Deer Park is professionally managed by RealManage.  They may be reached at 866-4-RealService (866-473-2573) or through their website:
